Affordable Housing in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador

Happy Valley-Goose Bay faces the strain of a changing population, with more seniors, fewer affordable homes, and too many people without stable housing. This initiative by the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Housing and Homelessness Coalition plans to create safe, accessible places to live, helping people stay rooted in their community as they age.

This project will bring new independent living units alongside future personal care and hospice spaces, all in one central neighbourhood. With room for on-site supports and a strong focus on connection and wellbeing, it’s designed to build a community where people feel supported and at home.
