Norhtpine Foundation’s investment in End Homelessness St. John’s HomeConnect program aims to counter this with a proven model that is leveraging private-market rentals to address the shortage, offering landlord protection tools, inspections, and light-touch weekly supports alongside with daily/after-hours crisis response, eviction prevention, and system navigation supports for tenants and landlords.

This initiative called HomeConnect aims to prove out this low-cost, high-impact intervention, paving a replicable blueprint for similar supply-starved markets across the province and he rest of the country.
