Cedarbrae Collegiate in Scarborough's toughest corridor battles chronic absenteeism, with students missing 30–40% of school, amid poverty, newcomer challenges, and few skilled trades paths for racialized youth.

In this initiative, Empire Detailing teams with the school's auto shop to deliver hands-on training in detailing, wrapping, tinting, PPF, and coatings, plus entrepreneurship basics, certifications, and mentorship from local entrepreneurs, towards the measurable outcome of increasing school attendance and securing employment opportunities for participants.

The Northpine Foundation investment will support Grade 11/12 students to get access to real client simulations, pro references, and an Auto Showcase, directly tying skills to jobs or startups in booming auto services. With students already signing up, this initiative will unlock stable employment opportunities and promising trades careers for some of Scarborough’s youth who need it most.
