Young autistic adults face high unemployment rates, with few specialized pathways to meaningful work. SAAAC’s Goodness Gift is a social enterprise that Northpine successfully supported to offer autistic individuals paid training in production and fulfillment, leading to employment within and outside of the enterprise.

This initiative aims to increase employment opportunities by positioning Goodness Gift to convert their excellent traction into steady corporate orders and funding, while they continue to serve Scarborough youth and families.

With solid foundations in place: a workspace facility, supply chain, and support services, this follow-on investment from the Northpine Foundation fuels the missing pieces including marketing and outreach, staffing relief, wage supports and more to scale the impact and fortify the sustainability of the Goodness Gift social enterprise.
