Northpine Foundation has invested in Wesley’s Skills Training and Employment Pathway to help Government-Assisted Refugees in Hamilton and Brantford move into meaningful work.

Building on Wesley’s role as the region’s primary refugee settlement provider, the program will identify employment-ready refugees early and provide individualized career planning, skills training, certifications, practical supports, and employer connections. Pathways will include skilled trades, manufacturing, construction, transportation, hospitality, healthcare, and other local sectors.

The initiative aims to track income, retention, and career progression, supporting a dedicated employment pathway to help refugees build a stronger foundation for long-term economic independence.
